Vine Is Twitter's New GIF-like Video Sharing Service

Twitter just got more GIF-friendly, by introducing Vine, a new video-sharing service for clips that are six seconds or less.

Vine is an iOS app that captures both motion and sound. Translation: GIFs MP4 files that you can tweet. Yes, there are similar apps in high supply that already exist. The obvious question is why isn't Vine just integrated on Twitter? Since Twitter bought Vine, we're going to assume that will be the case eventually. For now it's just a fun new GIF making app that plays nice with your tweets. [App Store via Vine, Twitter]
