Good news! Dreamworks and Netflix’s updated take on Voltron isn’t just coming back, it’s coming back even sooner than we expected: Season two will begin in late 2016.
The news was confirmed at the show’s Comic-Con panel, and then relayed via the official Voltron twitter account:

We were pretty fond of Legendary Defender, with out biggest critique being its awkward and abrupt cliffhanger. At least we won’t have to wait all that long to see its resolution.
