Welcome to the second io9 music smackdown! We’re putting together the ultimate science fiction (and fantasy) playlist – all the music that everyone should have on his or her iPod.
Today, help us decide which Anime animated, puppeted or early morning kid type TV tunes absolutely must be in the mix. Which would you rather have in your ultimate science fiction playlist: Cowboy Bebop’s “Tank” or the Batman: The Brave and the Bold theme?
Here are the rules for this particular playlist, only animated, Anime and puppet-based TV shows. And bear in mind, there are a lot of television shows out there. We tried to include them all, but we haven’t lived long enough to watch every animated series ever aired, so if we forgot one (and you really think it’s worthy of the coveted spot on the ultimate playlist) please put it in the comments.
