Different eras have different definitions of beauty. A look in the early 1900s can fall out of favor a few years down the road or maybe inspire a style decades later. Cut Video made this video that shows a model getting her and make up done to show what beautiful meant from 1910 to 2010.
I wonder which decade had the most "natural" look to it? Sure is hell ain't this one where the more make up you put on yourself, the better you think you will look. it seems people these days are even trying to hide not only blemishes but pores too. it's like they are not embracing one thing that makes them beautiful and unique: their imperfections. I am nervous about future's definition of beauty.
