Earlier in September, the San Francisco 49ers' spanking new high-tech stadium opened with its 600 WiFi access points and green roof and hot dog-ordering app. But just 29 months ago, Levi's Stadium was an empty lot in the ground. The entire stadium takes shape in this two-minute timelapse video.
The New Jersey-based company EarthCam took over 200,000 HD images of Levi's Stadium as it was being constructed. Their three megapixel cameras and one HD streaming cam documented the process from groundbreaking to opening day. Watch the walls go up and the field grow green and finally, the fans come pouring in.
