We really hope this isn't the only post credit scene for Iron Man 3

The best thing about the Marvel movies is hands down the massive attempt the studios make to weave each comic book character together. Either with Easter Eggs, cameos and the beloved post credits scene. Thus just about every extra moments hasn't failed to impress, until now. An alleged recount of Tony Stark's final moments from Iron Man 3 have been leaked, and we're kind of hoping this rumor isn't true. Spoilers ahead...

A few weeks ago, the rumor was that Iron Man 3 ended with a post-credits scene where Tony Stark flies into outer space to join up with the Guardians of the Galaxy. But now, Latino Review has a report on the actual post-credits scene, from an early screening of Iron Man 3. And it sounds like more like Avengers' shawarma-eating moment, and less like a big reveal:

It starts with a close shot of Tony Stark on a couch talking about his various traumas, obviously he’s talking to someone, as if he was seeing a shrink, the tone of the scene is light and supposedly funny. Then we discover that the person he’s talking to is Bruce Banner/Mark Ruffalo, who fell asleep because of Tony’s boring story. Tony remarks that Banner has been sleeping during the most part of his story and yells at him, and Banner just mumbles and says “You know, I’m not that kind of doctor!” Then Tony recalls another memory and resumes his monologue, and then we see Banner starting to fall asleep again.

We love Tony and Bruce Banner's bromace ever since the two rode off into the sunset together after the Avengers. And this is totally adorable — but let's hope this is yet another additional scene on top of something infinitely more epic. It's entirely possibly that Marvel and Disney have kept the BIG reveal out of this early screening on purpose. Let's not forget Guardians is still in the casting process and The Avengers filmed its shwarma scene in between doing press just a few weeks before the premiere. So anything is possible.

Grain of salt - Latino Review posts lots of "Confirmed Exclusives" that don't pan out, and they pretend never happened.

In January they were promising s Planet Hulk movie, and 2 weeks ago, they were saying that an Iron Man meets Guardians of the Galaxy post credit scene was "confirmed" (though it could conceivably still show up)and a few years back insisted that JJ Abrams had been fired from Trek, so...

Oh, and the schwarma scene was shot *after* the premiere of Avengers (because they were all in town)...
