Awww yeah, you thought we forgot about Saturday morning dance party here at Radio io9 (also known as “Radio9”)? Hell no, we’ve just been disco-napping off the last one.

Today’s offering is the 1981 single “La Serinissima” from the Italian orchestral group Rondò Veneziano. It’s catchy as all get out. The song was used by the Venice in Peril Fund to highlight the fact that Venice happens to be sinking. Hence, the above music video with a spaceship rescuing robotic chamber musicians from roiling waters. Do you want to hear the four-minute extended cut? Of course you do.
