After living with Google Glass for eight months, both Glass evangelizer Robert Scoble and Wired’s Mat Honan say life with the device is kinda complicated. Scoble even goes so far as to say, with a touch of exaggeration, thatGlass is “doomed.” You should really read what both have to say. Done? Good. Now it’s your turn.
To future-loving tech fans, Glass’s usefulness is supreme: you get all the power of a smartphone without having to take your eyes off whatever you’re doing. To others, the notion of being surrounded by people with creepshot-capable eyewear is just straight up freaky. And then there are those who think it’s all a gimmick, an overpriced plaything that won’t impact the average person’s life.
