What happens when you mashup, well, every action movie from the last 30 years with the Toy Story franchise? You get Toy Story: Taken, a fan-animated video in which the toys team up for one last mission: to rescue Andy.
The folks at Mashed came up with this piece of silliness. Most of the fun is in watching the toys enact familiar action movie cliches, but some of the moments are particularly inspired: the Nerf dart choking hazard, Mr. Potato Head parodying Die Hard with broken LEGO bricks, Rex telling everyone to look at the explosion. It’s a fun fan film.
