Remember the gloriously vibrant space art of astronauts walking on the moon? If those images were made into a movie they would look a whole hell of a lot like the trailer for Liquid Skies. Check it out, it's absolutely beautiful.

Liquid Skies

You're going to like this, check out the trailer for Annis Naeem's Liquid Skies. It's like a movie made out of Robert McCall paintings. Stunning, simply stunning.

Liquid Skies is the story of an astronaut hurtling across the universe—past suns you and I may never glimpse, yet fighting battles we may all face ourselves one day.

This short is part of Naeem's student project, which he hopes to have finished sometime next year. We'll keep you updated.

Painted Skin 2: The Resurrection

Super fantasy demon story Painted Skin 2: The Resurrection, from director Wuershan, finally has a translated trailer! Now we can tell what the beautiful demons are saying to one another. We can't get enough of this strangely hypnotic movie; it's almost like every character in the trailer is dancing. Fantastic.

According to demon lore, it takes hundreds of years to attain human form. Even then, lacking a human heart, a demon cannot experience the true pains and passions of existence. However, there is a legend that if a pure human heart is freely offered to a demon, it can become a mortal and experience true life.

Here is a super short trailer for the very talented Richard Mans' short movie about a robot who lands on a planet and builds life with whatever resources it could find. Quiet Earth claims it's beautiful, and the few short seconds of what we've seen look pretty wonderful as well. Can't wait to see more.

And finally take a look at the ultra disturbing social outcast gone seriously deranged movie, Excision. Warning, this trailer is red band and it means it.

Life sucks when you're seventeen. Alienated teen Pauline (AnnaLynne McCord) struggles with the pressures of fitting into high school, pleasing her parents and a burning desire to lose her virginity. With a grotesque curiosity for the darker side of life, Pauline is considered a social outcast by everyone around her. Enticed by flesh, she retreats into her own fantasies and hopes to become a great surgeon...that is if she doesn't go mentally insane first.
