Tron Legacy wasn't the box office juggernaut that Disney hoped it would be, but a sequel's nonetheless being bandied about. New details about the Tron Legacy DVD teaser indicate where Tron 3's headed. Spoilers!
Harry Knowles of AICN spoke with someone who worked on the DVD teaser shoot last November, and this is what he gleaned:
One [scene] includes Bruce Boxleitner (as Alan) and Dan Shor (as Ram). Turns out that "Ram" was apparently running the FLYNN LIVES campaign and he's frantically destroying all of that data and files, as Alan confronts him. Dan apparently utters the line, "Why did Kevin give you the cool name" [...]
Another has Quora showing up to ENCOM and getting acousted by the press because she's riding Sam's Ducati - and states that she just spoke with Kevin Flynn, yesterday!
The last scene that was shot in this mini-shoot involved text screens where you see the Father & Son... The Dillingers stating that everything is going as planned.
Additionally, Knowles acquired call sheets, location maps, and photos of a cluttered Flynn Lives office. The latter two details seem fairly par for the course for the sequel (given Cillian Murphy's uncredited appearance as the sure-to-be nefarious Dillinger Jr.), but the appearance of Ram's user persona is more surprising, seeing as how audiences saw the character only as a program in the original Tron.
