You know what today is? Well, allegedly, it’s quantum computer unveiling day! ABC has a story reminding us that today is the day that that Canadian company is supposed to unveil the world’s first quantum computer and peppers it with all sorts of “how will this change your life?” scenarios.

Imagine a world where business will be able to easily manage, like, a lot of their inventory… or a world with genetically based drugs. Once you ignore the fact that the computer is still the size of a freezer and needs to be in a near absolute zero temperature environment you’ll be wet like October, too.
