For the past couple of years LG.Philips and Samsung have been locked in a fierce competition over who could build the world’s largest LCD television. LG.Philips had held the crown for the past few weeks with their recently introduced 55-inch LCD TV, but their time at the top has been cut short — Samsung just unveiled a new 57-inch LCD TV today.
