This is Matthew Partridge. His mission: to walk from Land’s End to John O’Groats, a 1,200 mile march across Britain fraught with challenges. Or it would be, if he weren’t just doing it all from his computer.

Partridge has decided that he’d rather make the trip via Google Street View, which he estimates will take about 100 hours over 10 days. Cheap, attention-grabbing stunt? You bet! But just remember: while this young hero traverses his homeland one pixel at a time, that’s 10 days we don’t have to deal with him in the real world. [The Sun via Reddit]
