Research group NPD (the same guys who gave us Zune stats) says Xbox 360 outsold the other two next-gen consoles during the “Christmas” season. Fortunately for Microsoft, the Christmas season consisted of the start of November until Christmas Day, which means the Wii—which sold 1.8 million to Xbox’s 2 million—would have won if Nintendo’s launch hadn’t been at the end of November. Sony came in last place with just 750,000 consoles sold.
