Okay, so we were off by a few days — the official launch dates for the XBox 360 has been announced and here’s the scoop: It’ll be out in the U.S. on November 22, in Europe on December 2, and in Japan on December 10, which is definitely timed right for the holiday season. Some 25 to 40 games will also be on shelves, like Final Fantasy XI, Need for Speed Most Wanted, Resident Evil 5, Call of Duty 2 (which the best looking of the games I’ve seen thus far) and more. Just a reminder on pricing: It’ll be $299 for the base model, and $399 for the premium model (ie. the one you REALLY want to get). Time to start saving your holiday spending money.
