Miss using your keyboard and mouse to play first-person shooters? XCM is bringing old school PC gaming to your living room with the XFPS 360. The tiny adapter plugs into your Xbox 360's USB port and lets you connect either a USB or PS/2 keyboard and mouse directly to your system. I could never get into the keyboard and mouse routine when gaming (maybe I was using the wrong combo), but most hardcore gamers favor that over a clunky gamepad. To each their own. The XFPS 360 is currently in prototype. More pics after the jump.

I don't like it! If you want to use a keyboard and mouse, just stick to your PC. If you want to play console games, then use the same controllers as the rest of us. That's one of the draws to console gaming; everyone is using basically the same equipment, so it is a truer test of gaming skill. I guess it's the people who don't have the skill that have to fall back on easier controls (keyboard & mouse) or modding. Either way it's a cheap cheat.
