Our friend Powerpig just posted the plans he created when making this LEGO iPod for us last month. That means you can buy the elements from LEGO and make your own at home.
• First, grab a copy of LEGO Digital Designer for free from LEGO.
• Then go to Powerpig's blog and download one of the two iPod model files.
• Within the LDD application, you can order a model to "Design By Me" on LEGO.com by selecting "View > Send to LEGO.com". Each model is about $30.

• If you want to save a few bucks, Powerpig offers this advice: "If you go to LEGO Pick-A-Brick and pick out the pieces yourself, you'll save yourself a $10 handling fee for LDD.
