Grand Theft Auto IV is coming, and with it Microsoft are dropping an awesome, limited edition, Xbox Elite console, which features GTA branding all over. The gaming beast will not be launched to the public, but instead will be given away as press kits to promote the new title, which kinda sucks. Only 500 units will be produced, and each will carry a unique identifier etched on.
The artwork is apparently inked on with genuine, automotive-quality paint and the console will also ship with a snazzy, all metallic case, housing a number of different peripherals. Hey, with that unique identifier maybe you can track it better when you have to send it back to Microsoft to be repaired!

Looks fantastic right up until you get it back from repairs and they've scrubbed the artwork off.

as much as i like the series, i wouldn't want to have to stare at that ugly pic for the life of the system... oh wait, that may only be a couple of days. forget i said anything.

If they want to do a limited edition like this one, why don't they boost up the number of units. Let it be like windows vista ultimate Bill Gates signed edition.

it's so plain. the halo 3 xbox is still the best special edition xbox i've ever seen.
although that briefcase of xbox accessories is pretty fucking cool.

Nice, I respect that. The 360's hardware sucks, and I've been pissed off for too long to put up with M$'s shit. That's why I preordered the special edition on my PS3.
