The Jet House by designer Jérôme Olivet is certainly one of the craziest designs we have ever seen for a house. At first we were amazed with the "grounded space craft" looking three story structure. But then we got to thinkin'. This isn't too much different than the UFO house built in the 70s. The Jet House has an elevator and two jet-car garage, where as the UFO house has a button activated stair case and a two normal-car garage. After giving it a little more thought, the Jet House is basically just an updated UFO House that looks cooler. Well actually, much cooler. [Yanko Design]

The UFO House might look cooler, but, I think this one wins the "picturesque" contest... certainly the photoshop one.
Looks a little like Giger's design for the derelict spacecraft on LV-426
I'd buy that for a dollar!
Where Boba Fett lives...
Is this from Roger Taillibert?
Shouldn't it be called the Penis House instead? And a bit of furniture inside might be nice.
Yanko Design = FAIL stop posting it...nothing i have ever seen came to reality.
sure it looks cool, until some a-hole builds it next to your house.
I think I saw that building in Halo 3.
@zeddzero: What is that response? Jealousy? Why is it that when someone builds an unusual house the neighbors somehow suffer? How could it possibly harm you? Certainly something that cool isn't going to lower surrounding property values. Is it?
@guypatsy: It's of course jealousy. Otherwise, why would anyone care that an ultra modern house be built next to them?
But, in reality, this would be built on a good sized parcel of land offering 360 degree views, so they're not encumbered with clowns like zeddzero being in the way.
My favorite way-out-there house are the monolithic domes:

@guypatsy: I can deal with an ultramodern house being built next to mine, but if so much as a single swoop overlaps my property overhead, all hell breaks loose :P
I'm buying one as soon as woot! sells 'em.
@Gofastmazda: Uh, because if someone built this monstrosity next to your house, it would tank its property value.
People dont like living next to neo-futuristic-buckeyball-spaceship-rocket-matrix-techno 'habitats'.
