Usually camping and showering are either/or activities, but for those of you who absolutely have to cart the body wash and loofah into the wild, the Pocket Shower from Sea to Summit could be for you.
The 2.6 gallon Pocket Shower sports a compact showerhead that operates with twisting on/off valve. Bathers can adjust the stream to produce a slow trickle, or open it up completely for a dousing 8-minute power shower. Want a warm shower for those cool, crisp camping mornings? Leave the black fabric out in the sun.
Alternatively, the Pocket Shower can also be used as a dry sack to transport clothes, a sleeping bag, or those aforementioned beauty products no self-respecting city slicker would be without on the open range. [Sea to Summit]

Bathing with Sea Bears and what now?
Draw a circle, quick!!!!
Well, beats shitting with the bears I suppose.
i assume myhab.com rents these for $120 a night.
Wow, I'm surprised that no one has come up with this yet. Sounds like an excellent idea, IMO.
Then again, I've never been camping. Does this sound practical, to the campers out there?
@man_in_gauze: I've got one of these on my boat, it's excellent for that, I don't know how useful it would be camping/backpacking though
Hardly new though, I've had mine for 3-4 years now.
I've been out in the back country with a plastic version that barely worked. If this heats better in the sun then the ladies will be happy.
I have that black plastic one and it's worked fine for me. (Compare it to stream water temp.) You don't need much water to shower and you feel great afterwards.
If the woods are so god-damn great, why do bears shit in them?
Hopefully the spots where you can actually hang the bag is also ground that won't turn muddy underneath you.
@klew: uh... that's why most seasoned campers pack out a cast-iron 19th century clawfoot tub with them. i see someone has never gone camping before.
@strider_mt2k:
hahah sponge bob is the only thing worth watching on tv nowadays
Im slightly annoyed that this is probably better than the shower in my apartment.
I've got a few of the solar showers in my camp down in Mexico. 5 gallon versions so not so good for backpacking. This is a nice little addition for those hike and go types. Also, the variable stream is a nice addition. All my solar showers are "pull for on/push for off" types.
