A House to Get Lost and Forget About Your Troubles

Right now, looking at the photographs of this house in Fogo Island—Newfoundland, Canada—there’s nothing I would like to do more than to jump into a plane and hibernate there. Painting, eating fresh fish, and drinking whiskey. For a decade.

It’s small at 120 square meters, but the design of this artist studio is clean, light, sunny, and I’m a man of small needs. Give me this as my base and a schooner to rule the seas, and I’ll be happy forever. [Archdaily]
