This image was captured by the High Resolution Imaging Science Experiment camera on NASA's Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter while flying over the Bonneveille Crater on January 29, 2012. There's a spaceship hidden in plain view, sightly red because of the planet's dust. Can you see it?
It's the "first color image from orbit showing the three-petal lander of NASA's Mars Exploration Rover Spirit mission. Spirit drove off that lander platform in January 2004 and spent most of its six-year working life in a range of hills about two miles to the east." The image covers an area 2,000 feet wide. You can see the lander on the bottom left corner.
