Have you long lusted after an Android smartphone with face-tracking cameras and a dedicated button to make you spend money? Well, bad news: Amazon isn’t selling its Fire smartphone any more.

As spotted by GeekWire, Amazon is out of stock of the 32GB and 64GB versions of the Fire phone; the site says it doesn’t know ‘if or when’ they’ll ever be back in stock. But with Amazon having laid off dozens of engineers from the division that made the phone — and with the phone itself having been a phenomenal flop — I’m not going to be holding my breath.

Of course, if you think a Fire phone would look really great next to your Blackberry Playbook and HD-DVD player, there’s lots of sellers on eBay who will happily indulge you.
