Did you catch last night's episode of MythBusters, where they tested a bunch of Star Wars stunts to see if they actually work? Doesn't matter. What you really wanna watch tonight is Spaceballs, perhaps the best and funniest spoof movie that ever existed. And it's finally available on Netflix.

The great thing about Spaceballs is that you really don't need to know much of anything about Star Wars to enjoy it. Sure, a true Star Wars geek will be able to fully appreciate all the one-liner riffs and visual zings. But I imagine that someone who never saw a single minute of a George Lucas film—if such person exists—would still get a big ol' belly laugh out of the goofball antics and winking puns that make Mel Brooks' 1987 sendup such a comedy classic. And unlike a lot of comedies that lose their pep on repeat views, Spaceballs is so chock full of quips that you'll notice something new to chuckle at even on the three-dozenth time.

I don't need to tell you this. If you're a living, breathing human with any interest in sci-fi and comedy, you've already been working Spaceballs jokes into daily conversation for a decade or more. But that doesn't mean you can't watch it again. [Netflix]
