Seasonal Affective Disorder—either diagnosed or not—always seems the worst when winter drags on through March. But not everyone agrees on how affective light lamps and other tech really are in treating the winter blues. So tell me: Do you believe?
I've been considering getting a light lamp, but there are plenty of other technologies out there aimed at sad SAD sufferers. For example, there's Valkee, a set of ear buds that shine bright light into your cranium via your ear canals. The reasoning behind the device? Research that shows it doesn't matter how light gets to your brain—just that it gets there at all.
I'm curious: Are there any believers in light therapy out there? Or any naysayers? Talk to me below.
