    You wanna know how cheap I am ? i work in the same building and same level as these guys and know several of them. I haven't bought my copy yet in hopes that as soon as they come back from promotion and interviews (here and Europe) I can cop me a copy for free.

    @Gundem: i would probably do the same thing if i were you lol. if i had friends at a game company and worked on the same floor, i would pretty much expect free video games.

    I sat and watched a friend of mine play it for a few minutes. I was very not blown away. The graphics look ok, but I wasn't amazed. I guess it's all about the team play? I'm not into tactical war games, so I couldn't say. In any case, selling 7 million copies in one day is pretty amazing. I suspect it'll be a while before I can tear my friend away from his TV screen. #modernwarfare2

    @littleaxtell: @MANCREEP: I don't buy or enjoy games just for the graphics... I just was very underwhelmed by this one graphically. (I think based on the media hype I was expecting "next gen" visuals.)
    I have no interest in the military shooter genre (or just about any "shooter" for that matter). I've tried to sit with my friend and play CoD, Modern Warfare, the various Battlefield incarnations, etc, etc. My friend loves them, and tried to get me to join in. I just don't like them, and they all end up feeling the same to me, and there is no joy in it. But, for fans of the genre, it apparently is incredible, because my friends are unreachable now, having been deployed deep into MW2 territory for an unknown length of time, with a communications blackout enacted. /sigh #modernwarfare2

    @met2art: that's disapointing! Is it at least as good as COD4 was? I was blown away by COD4's graphics, so if MW2's are even close to as good as COD4's I'll be very happy (because, as you said, the gameplay is amazing).

    And btw, crysis is not my idea of next gen graphics - doesn't even look that good to me. #modernwarfare2

    @TheNimboo: You're asking the wrong guy... I really couldn't say. Ask one of the enthusiastic people such as MANCREEP, or littleaxtell, in the thread. :) I didn't like Crysis either, but then I only played the demo. The last single-player game I played was Fallout 3. I am addicted to trying MMOs, but rarely invest much time in them. Suffice to say, I'm not really much of a gamer.

    I spend most of my work time and free time taking pictures, drawing pictures, or playing music. I consider Photoshop to be my favorite open-ended sandbox game. ;) #modernwarfare2

    I also played Fallout 3, it was pretty addicting, I almost played it a second time just to see what would happen if I decided to be an "evil" character (I only stopped myself when I realized all my collegework was going down the drain) #modernwarfare2

    @N@tedog: Infinity Ward actually got into some issues because two in-game achievements (not Achievements, I just can't think of the name,) are called Joint Ops and Blunt Trauma, both featuring pot leaves in the background.

    @met2art: The 360 controller is near perfect as is. Extra programmable buttons are nice, but without wireless I don't think I'll be getting one. N0ot sure how I feel about the thumbsticks being flush with the controller either- that would take some getting used to.

    The ps3 controller is too small and the sticks are way too loose. Also, not a fan of their trigger and shoulder buttons. I liked the original xbox controller for size.

    It wasnt a matter of price or a 'cost-cutting move' it was because Microsoft don not let third party companies make wireless controllers.

    @hu_hu_cool: It's not that Microsoft wont let them, it's that you have to play nice with Microsoft. And by "play nice" I mean pay a shit ton of licensing fees.

    So essentially it was a cost cutting move from Mad Cats that ensures that I won't be buying this.

    EDIT: Cross that. I was wrong and thats what I thought I remembered. So I googlet it.Looks like everyone and their brother has tried to make a wireless periphials for it. Microsoft has proprietary rights on their wireless technology. Which is why we haven't seen any wireless guitars, controllers, headsets, ect. Basically Mirosoft doesn't want anybody else to profit off of it. Which is bullshit and I could bitch about. But I won't.
