Watch the stunning trailer for Eddie Alacazar's heady film 0000 and witness one man's dream of a collective consciousness (and the terrifying way he goes about realizing it). It's gorgeous.
0000
We've been following Alcazar's 0000 since the test footage and shocking poster (shown above) were released in 2010. Starring Aaron Behr, the film plays with the next phase of interactive media, and tacks some serious hardware to Behr's brain. Here's the official synopsis and first ever trailer. Well worth watching:
The mind of one man will galvanize a global revolution. His technology will birth a new era of human existence and social connection, but this great gift is rooted in dark tragedy. If he is to survive, he will need the help of many, and if we are to survive, our awareness must grow.

Chernokids
Influenced by Paul Fusco's images of the children of Chernobyl, Chernokids was to show "resilience; the way people bounce back after a trauma," [which is what one of the creators says in the comments on vimeo]. I'm not sure what to think of it just yet. While I understand that this short is trying to show that kids are still children in mind and heart no matter how they look, I almost wish they hadn't used the name "Chernokids." But I'm curious to hear what you all think.
