Long Weekend
The 1970s saw a wave of regulation and conservation efforts from the Australian government, right around when this was happening for the United States as well. In Long Weekend, wildlife in the land down under want to get revenge on disrespectful humans. A couple who’s been fighting decide to go to a remote beach for a weekend away, hoping that the excursion will help their relationship. They disrespect the environment, carelessly discarding cigarette butts, shooting off guns, and cutting down trees. Local animals eventually take their revenge.
