Frogs
Think of this 1972 as an amphibian take on The Birds. An old grumpy millionaire invites his family for a vacation on his island property to celebrate his birthday. But he hates nature, and he tries to poison everything that moves. The animals, including the frogs that he has tried to exterminate, attack him along with other animal island inhabitants.
Amphibian populations have declined for decades from the overuse of pesticides, according to the EPA. This affects frogs in all stages of their lives, from tadpoles swimming around in ponds to the jumping, croaking adults.
