We’ve talked about the Happy Hacking keyboards before…and before.…but never before have we seen this “Professional HG Japan” edition. A joint effort between Fujitsu and traditional lacquer makers at the Daitetsu-Yatsui Urushi Workshop, each key is hand-painted with 10 coats of lacquer before it’s dusted with real gold.

While the keyboard will set you back $4,240, just consider the serious AIM pimping you can do.

“Sup.”

“Who are you??”

“You don’t need to know baby, because I’m typing on a gold dusted keyboard.”

“Oh…sounds expensive.”

“And it doesn’t even have any letters. I’ve got to know the keys. No looking.”
