After widespread outrage over the tacky crap that stocks the shelves of the 9/11 Museum’s gift shop at Ground Zero, an especially tasteless 9/11-themed cheese plate has been removed. Museum officials have vowed to consult families of victims over the remaining items.
Kudos on the correction, but it probably should have been done sooner. Tons of unfortunate merchandise is still for sale. [WSJ via Gothamist]
