A parking lot in Miami is currently slated to be turned into the 47-story-tall Donald Trump Presidential Library, according to Politico. An anonymous Politico source with insider knowledge of the project told the publication they were imagining a “traditional library space [on the] first couple of full floors. Then you go up to 10 floors: hotel. And then you’d have office space. And then you have, you know, probably a beautiful restaurant at the top.”
If that’s hard to envision, the president helpfully furnished a visual aid of sorts via Truth Social on Monday night. His son Eric also posted it on X, perhaps for extra visibility.

To be clear, while AI was obviously used, it’s not as if someone typed “Sizzle real of the Donald Trump Presidential Library in Miami please!” into the soon-to-be-discontinued Sora. The video appears to be based on real renderings of this tower, credited to the architecture firm Bermello Ajamil. But those renderings were turned into a promo video using some AI video generator (and the resulting clips were edited together, stirring music was added, etc).
And that’s not really a gotcha. Trump likes AI just fine and riles people up by posting little slop movies online.
It is a little funny, though, that whatever video generator was used doesn’t handle text very well. At one point rendered “Donald J. Trump Presidential Library” as, well, see for yourself:

“More like Donald J. Trump Presidential Lierary” is a hack joke I would never make myself, but the President made it for me.
Gizmodo reached out to Bermello Ajamil for comment. We will update this article if we hear back.
