Minkyu Lee is an animator and visual development artist who has worked on The Princess and the Frog and Frozen. As part of his visual development portfolio, he imagined how Elphaba might look in her very own animated adventure, based on Wicked.
Lee created these images while he was studying at CalArts and interning at Disney. He has more images on his blog, where he also discusses the importance of creating a strong visual development portfolio as an animation artist. And Lee is an impressive animator in his own right, having directed the Oscar-nominated short film Adam and Dog.
