Today, we looked at a chart of which movies audience and critical opinion were most sharply divided on, and another question arose: What are the movies that have received the greatest unanimous critical acclaim or panning ever? This list answers that question.
Ben Moore (who made the original chart) generated these two lists for us in response to a question from io9, using the same dataset from Rotten Tomatoes that he used to determine the most overrated and underrated movies:

Most Reviled
Of course, the list only includes the 1,200 movies that were included in the data survey pulled from Rotten Tomatoes. (Moore sent along this note of caution with the list: "Bear in mind this isn't all films on Rotten Tomatoes, and disappointingly Godfather I and II weren't in the list — III was.") Still, it's an interesting look at some of the most loved and hated movies that unite our different opinions.
