Some concept designs are just so surprising and gorgeous that all you can do is sigh over the fact that they’ll likely never be real. These aerial gardens might not be the best fit for London, but they would look lovely glittering over some future city.
Architect Tsvetan Toshkov created his “City in the Sky” concept as part of the Megatropolis project, in which various artists and architects shared their vision for a future mega developed London. The project never came to fruition, but Toshkov decided to move forward and create an animated version of his concept design, in which lotus-shaped gardens would tower over London, reflecting sunlight and providing green space in the middle of the city.
