When Theodor Seuss Geisel, better known as Dr. Seuss, passed away in 1991, he left behind a few manuscripts that were nearly finished. One of those manuscripts, What Pet Should I Get? is currently being colored and will be posthumously published this coming July.

According to The New York Times, Random House will publish What Pet Should I Get?, a book about two siblings and their quest for a pet, on July 28th. Geisel’s widow, Audrey, and Claudia Prescott, who worked for many years as his secretary, discovered the nearly complete manuscript in 2013 in a box that had been set aside after Geisel’s death. The manuscript was likely written between 1958 and 1962. Random House is currently in the process of adding color to Geisel’s black-and-white illustrations and preparing the book for publication.

And it sounds like this won’t be the last Dr. Seuss book we’ll see. Random House is planning to publish two other works from newly discovered Geisel materials.
