Starting April 30, ABC will stream full episodes for next-day viewing of many of its programs including Lost and Desperate Housewives. Entire programs will be shown, but you won’t be able to skip through the commercials like you do on that PVR of yours. However, you’ll still be able to pause and rewind, and fast-forward if there’s not a commercial playing. Alas, all the programming will be presented in murky-looking standard definition.
While ABC’s decision is the gutsiest move yet, watch for the other networks to follow suit before too long.
