Apple’s original AirTags have gotten a refresh. The newest 2nd Gen AirTags keep everything that users loved about the OG version, while adding a few helpful upgrades that make it even easier to track down your stuff.
A 4-pack bundle is normally priced at $99, but you can pick it up for $89 today. This is the first discount we’ve seen on the new AirTags since their launch, and it works out to around $22 per tag. For reference, a single tag costs about $29 individually, so if you’ve been planning to pick up a few, this 4-pack bundle gives you the best value.
Louder speaker
These look a lot like the original AirTags, but Apple has packed them with quite a few upgrades. The newer tags come with a louder speaker that makes sure you can hear your AirTag ring easily, even when you’re in another room. If your keys somehow always end up in the sofa cracks, or you have a habit of putting your wallet somewhere “safe” only to forget where that actually was, the loud speaker makes it incredibly easy to hunt your missing stuff down.
This version also comes with the upgraded U2 Ultra Wideband and Bluetooth chips. These extend the range significantly, which makes it possible to find your items from even farther away than before. What’s more, you can even pair the tags with your Apple Watch to get notifications directly on your wrist! Note that the Precision Finding feature works on select watch models, including Apple Watch Series 9 or later and Apple Ultra 2 or later, with watchOS 26.2.1.
One tag can be shared with up to five people at once. This lets everyone keep an eye on the shared items like an umbrella or family car keys. You will also have the option to share a tag’s location with third parties or over 50 airline partners when the need arises. This can be really helpful in situations where you can’t find something yourself (like your luggage at the airport) but still someone else to actively keep tabs on it.
A single replaceable battery lasts up to a year, so you won’t have to constantly worry about running out of charge. A 4-pack bundle normally goes for $99, but you can now grab it for $89, thanks to Prime Day. If you don’t need four tags, you can also pick up a single for $24 instead of $29 right now. Just be sure to act fast, as these offer won’t be here for long.
