All The Apes Are Talking In New Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes Trailer

If you thought Dawn of the Planet of the Apes couldn't look much better, watch this new trailer and prepare to be proven wrong. Caesar addressing his people (who address him back), an ape playing dumb to get the drop on some idiot humans, gun-toting apes gone wild — IT HAS APE EVERYTHING.


Despite all the superhero movies, despite Godzilla and everything else, I think this is going to be the movie of the summer. We'll know for sure when Dawn arrives on July 11th.



They keep using that same line in every trailer: "You know the scary thing about them? They don't need power. Lights, heat, nothing. That's their advantage. That's what makes them strong."

Except they don't really have that advantage. Sure they don't need power. But lights and heat? All great apes other than humans live in warm tropical environments and exhibit diurnal behavior. Humans on the other hand, have had some 50,000 years to adapt to cooler climates (like the Muir Woods) and use fire to provide artificial light.
