AirTags make it easy to find your important stuff around the house and keep track of luggage when you’re travelling. You can attach one to your keys, wallet, bag, or suitcase, then check its location using the Find My app on your phone.
A single second-generation AirTag usually goes for $29, but Amazon is currently offering it at a 17% discount. That brings the price down to just $24. Got a few things you’d like to keep tabs on? The 4-pack bundle is down to $89 (originally $99), which works out to a little over $22 per tag. You can also get up to three months of Apple Arcade, Fitness+, and News+ for free with your purchase! These offers are open to all shoppers, but they could end soon. It’s better to take advantage of the discount while it’s still around.
Multiple ways to track your essentials
The new AirTags come with upgraded Ultra Wideband and Bluetooth chips that let you find your items from even farther away than before. When what you’re trying to track is nearby, you can get step-by-step directions to it on your phone and even your Apple Watch. If you’ve followed the directions but still can’t find the item, you can ring the AirTag to spot where it’s hiding. The speaker in these second-gen tags is almost 50% louder than the original, so you’re sure to hear them ring even when your tag is buried deep in the cushions or is somewhere in another room!
Items that go out of Bluetooth range can still be tracked using Find My, which updates the location of a tag whenever a nearby Apple device detects it. Additionally, one AirTag can be shared with up to five people at the same time. This makes it easy for everyone in the family to track the mutual stuff. You can also share location access temporarily with third parties and over 50 airline partners if you lose something and need help locating it.
The battery can easily last over a year, and your iPhone will alert you when it’s time for replacement. All things considered, if you’re looking for an easy, efficient way of tracking your essentials, AirTags can be a good investment. You can now pick up a single AirTag for $24, or a pack of four for $89 at Amazon. The retailer is also offering up to three months of Apple Arcade, Fitness+, and News+ for free, which sweetens the pot even more.
