Once the camera is up and running, it gets you a live view of the area through the Tapo app. The 2K QHD clarity makes every tiny detail perfectly visible without a lot of zooming in or squinting. It’s also got a built-in Starlight sensor that delivers bright video at night.
You’ll appreciate smart features like AI detection, with which the camera sends specific notifications when it detects vehicles, pets, people, or all three. For instance, if you’re placing it in your bedroom, you can choose People. The camera will instantly notify you when another person steps in, allowing you to take appropriate action quickly.
This is also where the two-way audio feature comes in. You can communicate with whoever is on the other side just as you’re talking on the phone!
