Easy monitoring

The Ring Floodlight Cam Plus comes with a 1080p HD security camera that captures all that’s happening outside your house in clear detail. You can use the Ring app to view the feed on your phone. The camera notifies you when it detects motion, so you won’t have to worry about missing anything important or need to keep an eye on the feed yourself all the time. In fact, you can create your own motion zones if you only want to be notified about activity in specific areas. This way, the camera won’t alert you about places that don’t really matter.

The floodlights are super bright and illuminate a wide area. These are also motion-activated, so they will light up when there’s some kind of movement in the coverage area. It’s great for deterring intruders, but also comes in handy when you’re coming home late and need a bit of light to find your way to the door. And if the lights alone aren’t enough to scare someone off, you can also activate the loud 85dB siren from the Ring app to warn them!

You can also connect your camera to Alexa if you’d like hands-free control. The voice assistant can read notifications for you and even perform a bunch of actions through compatible Alexa-enabled devices. Getting started is pretty straightforward. You just need to install the camera outside your home, then connect it to WiFi to enjoy all these smart features. Note that while plenty of useful features are available for free, you can access some more advanced ones (like AI-powered alerts) with a compatible Ring Protect subscription (sold separately).

Amazon is now letting you pick up the Ring Floodlight Cam Plus at a 33% discount, which brings its price down to $120. You can save a bit more by trading in an older device, and will also get free shipping with your order.
