Yes, it's a steam powered record player. Playing a punk LP. The Sex Pistols – God save the Queen (Victoria obviously). You can't really get more steam, or punk, than that! And yes, I know it sounds terrible.

At least he knows it! The project started when he decided to build a small steam engine from parts he found in his garage. If he could manage to create this from spare parts in a garage, well, damn, that must be one helluva garage. [Asciimation via Laughing Squid]
