With RAM prices on the fritz and prices going up everywhere, anybody looking to get some gaming in is going to be hunting for good deals. There are plenty of ways to save on games themselves, especially if you’re a PC gamer, but hardware discounts are a lot less common. Thankfully, you can find them here and there, and if you’ve been patiently waiting for a good one on a handheld gaming PC, we’ve found it for you.

The ASUS ROG Xbox Ally is a fantastic gaming handheld, and while it’s normally priced at $600, it’s currently on sale for $500 instead. That’s a 17% discount, which isn’t as much as you’ll find on something like a controller, but is a hefty amount off when you’re looking at hardware like this. There’s no way this deal lasts for very long though.

Get Your Game On

The ASUS ROG Xbox Ally has a beautiful 7-inch touchscreen with 1080p resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, which means that your eyes will be constantly thanking you for the visual treats you’re giving them. It’ll be a little weird when they start talking, but you’ve just got to roll with it. Despite the name suggestion it’s all about Xbox gaming, it’s really not. While you can access your Xbox games and you get the Xbox Game Bar, you’ll also have access to your PC games as well, meaning that you’ll have one of the largest libraries of options going, and a game for every single mood possible.

You can game for hours on this device, despite it’s power, and you can always game while it’s plugged into an outlet to treat it like a permanent gaming station of sorts. Not only that, but it comes with a huge 512GB SSD, so you’ll have enough space to download a veritable army of different games, just so long as you’re not trying to get the latest Call of Duty on it. Look, they’re fun games, but the file sizes are handheld-destroying menaces, and you need to keep them in check.

This is a great price for a really good handheld gaming PC, and given how expensive so many things are right now, being able to save on the luxuries is essential. You’re not going to be able to pick this up for $500 for long though, so you’ll want to be as fast as possible if you do want to get your hands on this while it’s on sale.
