It’s been a weird week for Asian hamburgers that have been dyed black – but now Batman’s joining in on the fun in Hong Kong. But wait, what!? His burger’s not black! I feel disappointed, Batman.

The burger is part of an new promotion in Hong Kong McDonalds that features Justice League-inspired meals, starting with the Batman ‘Diner Double Beef’ and some Squeezy Cheesy Fries. Perhaps the taste of bringing justice to Gotham’s streets is vaguely akin to salt and cheese.
The closest we get to Batman being associated with this meal comes with this trailer for the promotion, which shows off a (actually pretty nice looking) minimalist Batman design for the Burger’s box:
Who knows what’s next for Hong Kong McDonald’s Justice League line. Maybe an Aquaman Filet-O-Fish?
