The Hollywood Reporter claims that director Darren Aronofsky has visited MGM to discuss the remake of RoboCop. You know his work from the gorgeous fantasy flick The Fountain and gritty Requiem For A Dream. I couldn’t even imagine what RoboCop would be though the eyes of Aronofsky, but I know it would be a whole new kind of dystopian Detroit. Please MGM put a pen in this mans hand and let him bring the silver cyborg to life. I’m sure it won’t pan out with everything he’s in right now, but one can dream.
