Children of the ’90s probably remember being educated by Bill Nye and his incredible array of bow-ties. But tweens these days probably don’t really have the same attention span, so here’s the great man himself, explaining evolution in 90 seconds through the medium of emoji.
Nye might not be quite the same bounding, zany performer he used to be — for sure, he’s a little older and grayer, almost serious. But it’s good to see, through videos like this, that he’s retaining some of the magic enthusiasm that helped teach millions of kids about science. Even if he does have to resort to emoji to do so.
