Our buddy Howard Chui has a helpful roundup of five of the different Bluetooth headsets for cellphones that are out there, the Jabra BT200 v1, the Nokia HDW-2 (pictured at right), Nextlink’s Bluespoon Digital, Sony Ericsson’s HBH-60, and the BT400 GII from Bluetake. The end results are decidedly mixed:
In the end there is no clear winner in this roundup. The headset with the best incoming sound is the HBH60 but it has questionable outgoing sound quality. The Nokia has the best outgoing sound quality but has below average incoming sound quality and did terribly on the fan test. The Bluespoon is probably the coolest headset here with it’s noise canceling, interesting super small size and good battery life. The Bluetake offers some interesting extras and comes with some cool software. The Jabra has fairly poor sound quality but is the only headset in this roundup that you can use with non Bluetooth phones via it’s adapter.
