Casio takes its Exilim line a step further with the new EX-Z600, a 6-megapixel shooter with a 3x optical zoom. The big story here is its 3.7-inch viewfinder which the company says is three times brighter than its predecessor, the EX-Z500. The LCD also has an auto mode which automatically adjusts to the brightness of wherever you are. Another improvement is its longer battery life, which is touted to deliver 550 shots per charge. And if you ve been hitting the J ger pretty hard, you'll be happy to know that your morning-after shots (photos, that is) will be sharp thanks to an anti-shake DSP that will hold your camera steady even when you can't. And with its rapid flash function, you can take three consecutive flash shots in one second, exhorting your model to gimme that pout, baby. This new camera will be available in March, gussied up in your choice of silver, black, or blue. No pricing yet.
